Brooke Stroud is a 1996 graduate of Jackson High School.  She received a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Shorter College.  Her Master of Arts in Early Childhood Education is from Piedmont College and her Educational Specialist in Educational Administration and Supervision is from Lincoln Memorial University.  Mrs. Stroud also holds certification in Special Education.

Brooke Stroud is beginning her 19th year teaching.  She began her teaching career in Henry County Schools at Ola Elementary.  She has taught in Butts County Schools at North Mulberry and Stark Elementary for the past 13 years.  She has taught fourth grade, second grade and kindergarten.

Mrs. Stroud has been married to her husband, Wade, for 18 years and has three children.   She lives in Butts County and enjoys being involved in her church and working weekly after school teaching dance at T & K Studios.  Being a product of the Butts County School System, Mrs. Stroud has been very appreciative of the experiences and achievements she has been given.  In 2008, she had the privilege of being chosen to represent the Butts County School System as a member of the Teacher Advisory Council for the state of GA with State School Superintendent Kathy Cox.   In 2014, Mrs. Stroud was chosen as Teacher of the Year for Stark Elementary and was also chosen as 2014 Butts County Teacher of the Year.   She is thankful to work in a wonderful school system and give back to the community she has always called home.
